    Welcome to Bar Himmel – The City's Largest outdoor seating area!

    With the best sun exposure on Gothenburg's most famous street, we welcome our guests with food, drinks, music, and lovely company. The 2024 season is extra special as Bar Himmel is run in an exciting collaboration between Götaplatsgruppen, Park Lane, and BOV.

    BOV on Gibraltargatan and BOV Discobar on Tegnérsgatan have emerged as one of the most interesting restaurant operators on the Gothenburg scene, with their unique culinary craftsmanship and passion for ingredients. Park Lane is Gothenburg's classic entertainment venue where disco, joy, and entertainment are the focus. This summer will be unique as these operators join forces with Götaplatsgruppen at Bar Himmel.

Buckle up because here we go! Enjoy Mediterranean-inspired food from BOV, ice-cold drinks, and the view from the iconic Götaplatsen. Of course, all the staff will be offering smiles and high fives. Göteborgs Postens readers have spoken – Bar Himmel at Götaplatsen has Gothenburg's best outdoor seating area. After a few weeks of nominations and voting, it was clear on Saturday, July 19, 2014 – Bar Himmel, located at the top near the art museum with a fantastic view over Avenyn, is the winner. We thank everyone who voted for us and welcome both old and new guests to our wonderful outdoor seating area.
